I have added three new tutorials of my own this time. I had several request asking me how I did the new text on the last newsletter and this one so I wrote a small tutorial on how I did it. It uses vector text and then converting the text to character shapes. I also added another by request was my method for watermarking images. It's a simple tutorials which uses the layer blend modes so that you can protect your images (somewhat) from being stolen. A requested simple button tutorial was also added.

I have added more new links to the PSP 7 links page. Not near as many as last time but there are a couple cute ones. If you need specific help on a tool or function of PSP then check out the second page of links with more specified areas of tutorials like the selection tools, mask, color palette, histogram etc in it. If you are still using PSP 6 I still have my PSP 6 Links pages up and remember that PSP 7 can also do any of the PSP 6 and/or previous versions of PSP! Also added a links page for the KPT filters as well.

There is still time to register for LVS's new Toon Class with Ron Lacey if you haven't yet. Classes will start May 19th. LVS also offers many others classes to choose from if Tooning is not your thing. Head over and check out the course information page for more details and/or to register for class! Front Page 2000 is being offered for the last time before the new edition is released by MS so if you need to learn FP 2000, sign up now!

 Corel is planning to release KPT 7 in the fall of this year. This is to be a whole new set of filters ! Sally and I plan to offer the new set of filters in our Filter Frenzy Classes at LVS Online if any of you are interested make sure you head over and sign up for the updates list at LVS so that you will know when new classes are added. You can view a current list of courses here. This will be the last session til Fall (Sept) Hurry Registration ends 5/19!
In the last issue I mentioned the Easter Eggs in PSP 7 and some of you had troubles finding them and getting it to work. Check out The Easter Eggs Archives for the solution to PSP 7 and all your favorite software programs hidden Easter Eggs! Added even more 4th of July Tubes to the collection. I still have more to add and I am also working on some Father's Day tubes as well. Please send any request to me and I will do my best to get them up for you asap!
