completely rewritten so to include the new scripting language.
If you don't think you are going to be purchasing version 8 , then
when saving files choose SAVE AS and then in the OPTIONS but, change
that to save them in PSP 7 format so that you will still be able to
open your files from PSP 8 once the beta has expired.

11. Bug
Report Back to Top 12.
Animation Shop ?- This is a known
bug/issue. If it is not working then there is a registry fix but I
would suggest waiting til next beta since the registry fix doesn't
always work. Back to Top 13.
Apply Deformation tool- Simply
select a new tool. Back to Top 14.
Right/left Slash Brushes? - They are gone but you can make them if you like. Pick either the circle or square brush tip (on
the Tool Options ribbon) then adjust the Thickness and Rotation
settings
until you get the slash you want. Save it as a preset so you always
have
access to it in the future, and save it as a Brush Tip (in Brush tip
drop
menu.)

Problems- (a)First try zooming in and out of the

Close and reopen the document completely. (c) Close
and reopen PSP. (d) Reboot your PC (e) Use the "reset
preferences option in File>Preferences>Reset Preferences to reset
all prefs. (f) last resort, uninstall and reinstall the beta.

23. What is Scripting?
- PSP 8 Contains a full blown scripting engine based on Python
programming, see
http://www.python.org for more information on detailed
programming. You may use Python to write scripts from scratch
if you like however it is really not necessary as PSP can do all the
work for you since it includes a script recorder. Scripting is
accessed through the Scripting Toolbar or through the Script submenu
of the FILE menu. From there you can record, pause recording, save
recordings, and play, edit or cancel scripting.

Scripts are saved to one of the scripts directories specified in the
file locations dialog. Most scripts can be edited with the
built in script editor, but since scripts are text files you may
choose to edit them in something else like notepad.
Scripts can be ran a couple different ways: Silently-
All dialogs are skipped and the commands in the script are
executed without showing any UI. Interactive-
All dialogs are displayed as normal and the user can change the
settings of commands before they are carried out by the script.

24. Harm from Scripts-
YES!!! Scripts are essentially a small program, like
an exe file that runs within PSP. This means people COULD make
scripts that would do bad things to your computer. Please use
EXTREME CAUTION when sharing/ downloading and using any script from
someone else. Jasc has set up folders for you in your "MYPSP8 Files"
contained within your "MY DOCUMENTS" folder on your computer.

A script may be either "trusted" or "restricted" depending on where
it is found (placed). Most scripts you will and can run as
"trusted", place ONLY ones you have made or ones that you are
CERTAIN are safe in your trusted folder. Restricted scripts are ones
that may concern you, certain operations that might be harmful to
your PSP or puter are not allowed to run in "restricted" mode, they
include things such as, Save, Save as, Save Copy as, Close,
Close All, Exit, Image mapper, Image slicer, File Send, batch
process, batch rename, File Locations, GIF export, JPEG Export and
PNG Export..
